ABERDEEN, SD (NSUWolves.com) – NSU Head Coach Paul Sather announced the signing of two players to National Letters of Intent on Thursday as the early signing period opened. Andrew Kallman (Chaska, Minn.) and Parker Fox (Mahtomedi, Minn.) will join the Wolves for the 2017-18 season.
Andrew Kallman is a 6-foot-4, 175-pound, guard out of Chaska High School. He is a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Hawks under head coach Dana Kallman. As a junior, Kallman averaged 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists per game. He was named Metro West All-Conference a season ago, as Chaska won the conference championship. As a member of the Fury club program, he averaged 15 points per game and shot 50 percent from the 3-point line. In his two years with the team, Kallman has been named to seven all-tournament teams. Kallman is also a local church youth leader and the Chaska High School volleyball manager. He is the son of Dana and Kristine Kallman.
Parker Fox is a 6-foot-8, 190-pound, forward out of Mahtomedi High School. He is a 2-year starter and team captain for the Zephyrs under head coach Keith Newman. As a junior, Fox averaged 22 points and seven rebounds per game. He is a 2015-16 All-Conference selection and as named the Star Tribune Prep Athlete of the Week (Jan. 19, 2016), the White Bear Lake Press Athlete of the Week (Dec. 10, 2015), Varsity Views Athlete of the Week (Nov. 29, 2015), and was a semi-finalist for the ASPIRE Beverages Athlete of the Week after scoring 39 points against Hastings High School. He is the Mahtomedi school record holder in points per game (22), points in a season (538), and points in one game (39). Fox is also a high jumper for the Zephyrs where he has reached the state tournament and set the conference record. He is the son of Neal and Heather Fox.
