WATERTOWN, S.D. (KXLG) — Watertown Airport Manager Todd Syhre (SIRE) is sharing a few more details about a smaller jet aircraft that made a difficult, but safe landing Tuesday morning at the Watertown airport. He says the pilots managed to successfully deploy and lock the aircraft’s landing gear, however a brake malfunction caused a problem.
Syhre says four individuals, including the two pilots, were on board the aircraft. He couldn’t say who the plane belonged to or who the individuals on board were, but that it’s expected the two-engine jet will be air worthy in a few days. The commercial ADI flight out of Watertown Tuesday morning was not delayed.
