  • In the SDHSAA semi-finals out west, in Rapid City, the Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles defeated the Rapid City Central Cobblers in penalty kicks. Jake Hilsendeger scored in the games’ 34th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead, but in the 6th minute in the second half, Rapid City Central would tie things up with a goal from Cole Garret. The game would go to OT where netiher team would score, leading up to penalty kicks. After the first round of PK’s left the match still tied…Aberdeen Central’s Jalani Peters made the game winning PK to send the Golden Eagles to the Championship.
