ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Northern Lights festival of Norwegian music and poetry is set today and Friday on the campus of Northern State.
The event will feature a pair of concerts, a brown bag discussion and a lecture, according to Marla Fogderud, Assistant Professor of Voice at Northern. She talked about how the inaugural event came to fruition.
The festival gets going with a concert this evening.
The event continues on Friday, concluding with another concert.

The Northern Lights festival is free and open to the public. Fogderud said the Norwegian music might be different than what people are thinking.
