Updated NCAA D-II Regional Volleyball Standings

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (NCAA.com) – The NCAA D-II Central Region rankings have been updated, and the NSU squad bumped up a spot this week.  Nebraska-Kearney is the new #1 w/ Concordia Univ.-St. Paul sliding to #2 after a 4-set home loss to Wayne State College on Saturday.  Washburn is 3rd in the standings w/ MN-Duluth sitting 4th, Northern at #5, Univ. of Sioux Falls up to 6th, Central MO now in 7th, SMSU in the 8-position, Central OK at #9, and Northwest MO State in the final slot.  This week’s poll does NOT include Tuesday’s 1st round conference playoff matches which saw USF (6) defeat CSP (2) in four sets, and NSU (5), UMD (4), and SMSU (8) move on to the next round as well.  In the MIAA, NE-Kearney (1), Washburn (3), Central MO (7), and Central OK (9) all advanced to the semifinals as Northwest MO (10) was knocked out.  The GAC has its playoffs this THU-SAT, and the MIAA & NSIC finish their playoffs FRI & SAT.  The NCAA selection show is Sunday night on NCAA.com at 9p.
