Frankie Ballard to headline Ipswich Trail Days

IPSWICH, S.D. (Press Release) – Country-blues-rocker Frankie Ballard will headline Ipswich Trail Days Saturday, June 8, 2019. After recent appearances at the Grand Ole Opry and a world tour featuring sold out venues in Europe and Japan, Frankie Ballard will bring his country-rock anthems to Ipswich for the annual Trail Days celebration. Ballard has charted three number 1 hits so far in his career: “Sunshine & Whiskey,” “Helluva Life,” and “Young & Crazy,” with “It All Started With a Beer” also hugely popular on the radio.

Originally from Michigan and winner of Kenney Chesney’s Next Big Star competition in that state, Frankie Ballard is now a singer/songwriter based in Nashville. He has toured with Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Big and Rich, and Bog Seger, to name a few. Ballard has his “own brand of American music. There is rock & roll, country stories, country lyrics & country songs. And there’s a lot of blues swagger & blues guitar playing. It’s all those things together!”
