PIERRE, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- SB32 which provide for the distribution of tax revenue from certain gross receipts occurring on fairgrounds will have a hearing date with the South Dakota Senate Taxation Committee on Wednesday beginning at 10am.  Prime sponsor is Senator Al Novstrup of Aberdeen. PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- The South Dakota Legislature has been trying to push teacher pay higher for several years. This year, they’re working to put some teeth into their efforts. State Education Secretary Dr. Joseph Graves testified on the latest compensation proposal Monday. South Dakota ranks 49th in the nation for average teacher pay.
