YMCA Futures Tackle Football League
Registration for the YMCA Futures Tackle Football League (grades 3-4 and 5-6) begins July 14 and runs through July 28 at the Aberdeen Family YMCA (5 South State Street). Everyone interested in playing in the league needs to register at the Y or contact Dan Grewe at 225-4910. Equipment checkout will be August 7 and the league will begin August 12 and run through September 20, 2008.

Wrestling Coach Honored
Redfield Pheasant's veteran Wrestling Coach, Fran Esser, has received a national award. The National High School Athletic Coaches Association has named Fran Esser the National Wrestling Coach of the Year.

Cross Country Run
The Aberdeen Christian School is sponsoring a cross country run July 12 at the Lee Park Golf Course. Age divisions start at 14 and under, and go up to 60 and over. For details contact bob Lamont at 605-228-1073.

AHA Looking for Coach
The Aberdeen Hockey Association is accepting applications for the Boys' Varsity and Junior Varsity coaching positions. The application deadline is July 2. Contact AHA Development Director Steve Hogg at 605-226-1527 if interested, or find the application online at www.aberdeenhockey.com.
